I do not understand when people “baby talk” to their dog. If you’re not sure what I mean when I say “baby talk”, just imagine your voice going a few octave higher and you start to either slur or dumb down your grammar/word usage. For example the sentence: “Why are you crying?” becomes “no no no cry cry. no no cry cry”. I wonder what the dog is thinking when he hears this…

well…the reason why I do it is because I read that dogs respond well to higher pitched vocals so baby talking to your dog is actually enjoyable for them. They also have the developmental capacity of about a 2 year old, so there’s that too…
I’m almost sure you didn’t want real answer though…so you can ignore all that and just read this:
“But my dog is just sho cuuteeee!!!”
